At AIM Camp, children have a unique opportunity to meet real stars from the world of sports. Each camp session features at least two professional athletes, including Czech Olympians and national team members. There is always at least one athlete present at the camp in Zl\u00edn.<\/span><\/p>\n

Children can experience, for example, athletics training with world champion \u0160\u00e1rka Ka\u0161p\u00e1rkov\u00e1, a judo match with Olympic champion Luk\u00e1\u0161 Krp\u00e1lek, or a talk about the world\u2019s top MMA league from Ji\u0159\u00ed Proch\u00e1zka.<\/span><\/p>\n

The athletes attend individual sessions according to their personal schedules, so we cannot guarantee the participation of a specific athlete in a given session. However, at least two sports personalities will visit each session \u2014 one in Brno and one in Zl\u00edn.<\/span><\/p>\n

His impressive sporting career began in 2007, when he won gold at the European Championships and silver at the World Championships in Munich. A year later, he made an indelible mark on Olympic history by winning a silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. He later added two more Olympic medals \u2014 silver from London and bronze from Rio. In total, Ond\u0159ej has won three Olympic medals and twelve World Championship medals, becoming world champion five times and European champion four times. \nThis pair became world champions in 2023 and European vice-champions a year earlier. They\u2019ve experienced Olympic sand firsthand \u2014 in Tokyo and again under the Eiffel Tower in Paris, where they placed 9th.

David currently represents the USK Praha sports club and trains with national team colleagues under coach Petr Lacina. His greatest success so far is winning the European Championship title for athletes under 23. He has also achieved top results among men, including second place at the 2018 European Cup in Prague, third place at the Judo Grand Prix in Turkey, and fifth place at the Grand Slam Tokyo tournament. Although he narrowly missed qualifying for the 2016 Olympic Games, he used the experience to motivate himself and has since qualified for the 2021 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo \u2014 his first Olympics.

\nHe played over 300 matches in the Czech top league and ended his professional career in 2015 with a legendary exhibition match at Za Lu\u017e\u00e1nkami Stadium in Brno, attended by around 35,000 spectators. Today, Petr works as a TV presenter and commentator, appearing on shows like TIKI TAKA and Parti\u010dka. He is also a Czech champion in powerlifting, deadlift, and bench press. Remarkably, Ji\u0159\u00ed achieved all of this while living with type 1 diabetes, which he was diagnosed with at age 3. He embodies resilience and determination \u2014 qualities he\u2019ll share with children at AIM Camp.
